As above... so below

Some love by halves, and think it is enough
Some bite, lick, and nibble and think it a feast
But you and I, my dearest darling
We bathe in flames when there is a chill
We swallow the seas at a hint of thirst
And when we love, we love until it hurts
But today, lay back
So I may bind you in flesh
As you have bound me in spirit
I am slave
Words are of no use to love
I worship your form
A claw raked tenderly across your peaks
Valleys will fire your flesh
The tears of Aphrodite will liven the rosebud
And when you have tip-toed along the tightrope of ecstasy
And lay shivering and warm in my arms
I beg of you, give me your fever
So we may burn brightly together
Throughout this night and forever
Macrocosmos to microcosmos
